Zurich Airport has always been a “forerunner” in modern passenger service and started with mobile apron solutions back in 1952. Consequently, Zurich Airport introduced the first four predecessors of the COBUS in 1978.
In 1990 CONTRAC GmbH, today COBUS Industries, took over the product rights of this type of apron bus and started with production and delivery of COBUS airport buses. With the development of the e.COBUS in 2014 we realized the next step towards sustainability. Until today, COBUS Industries continues its way on the fast lane – being a clear market leader.
