Even with its smaller exterior dimensions the COBUS 2700s lacks nothing. Compared with a normal city bus it still offers transport capacity of up to 77 passengers, and that with its smaller dimensions. Its advantages are due to a smaller turning circle and a suitable length for high manoeuvrability in the busy ramp area.
*The COBUS 2700s with two extra wide passenger doors on each side ensures efficiency and flexibility on the airport apron. The extra wide doors guarantee that even when hand baggage is carried there are no problems with crowding in or around the entrance area.
The level passenger compartment, arranged using the latest design concepts, makes it easier for your passengers to find a safe and comfortable place inside. The pneumatic ”kneeling system” also guarantees that even children and the elderly can comfortably enter or exit the COBUS 2700s. In short, the COBUS 2700s is equipped with all the advantages which have made its bigger brother, the COBUS 3000, so successful.
Tilting windows and roof hatches make sure that there is no heat build up in the passenger area even with a full passenger load. The exceptional interior height gives a comfortable roomy feeling and allows good air circulation. Whilst the driver’s cabin is air conditioned as standard the passenger compartment can be equipped with an optional unit especially for tropical or hot regions.
Service flaps fitted to the vehicle sides, as well as the front and rear of the COBUS 2700s, allow direct access to maintenance relevant components. Should any of these panels be damaged during manoeuvring on the ramp the relevant part can be simply and easily exchanged with virtually no down time at all.
